About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Chengdu

Area allowed for the Chengdu 144 Hours transit visa

Hello,

I am planning to do ICN - CTU - CDG .

It seems that the area allowed by the 144 Hours transit visa is Chengdu city only.
("Passengers qualifying under the 144-hour visa-free transit are allowed to travel within Chengdu only")

Therefore it means that Leshan Giant Buddha and Jiuzhaigou that are in Sichuan but outside Chengdu city are excluded?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and the good news is that starting from December 1, all those traveling on 144 hour TWOV will be allowed to travel to several nearby cities and attractive locations within Sichaun province beside Chengdu:

- Leshan
- Ya'an
- Meishan
- Deyang
- Suining
- Ziyang
- Neijiang
- Luzhou

Unfortunately, Jiuzhaigou will definitely remain outside the area allowed to visit under 144 hour TWOV.

- Yibin
