About:China Transit Visa

are Indians allowed to have visa free transit in china for 24 hrs

Hi I am an Indian, Travelling from Kolkata to LA in December 2019. I have a halt of 23 hrs at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport T1. Do I have to take visa permit from china? What is the procedure for me to roam in China for one day with Indian Visa

You don't need a visa. If you want to leave the airport, you can print a copy of your hotel confirmation in advance and use it plus your next flight ticket to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
