About:Visa on Arrival

So right now i'm staying in hong kong for my study, and i would like to go to shenzhen

but still not sure when and how long is it going to take, either one day trip or staying there? can i still get my china visa without hotel reservation?

Yes, you can. Hotel reservation is not compulsory, although if you intend to apply for a Shenzhen VOA it is advisable to have at least the first night booked because you will find on the application form also a question about your accommodation. Anyway, you should make a reservation just a day before you determine when do you plan to travel to Shenzhen. If you intend to do just a day trip, then you will write exactly like this (a day trip) on the mentioned application form.
