About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
144 hours free transit visa
Hi,
my colleague is Italian. He will need to travel to Shanghai (PVG).
His departure itinerary will be: Indonesia - (transit in Hongkong for 2 hrs) - Shanghai.
He will stay for 3 days, then go back to Indonesia through Bangkok.
So, actually his itinerary will be:
Indonesia - Hongkong just for transit for 2 hours - Shanghai - Bangkok just for transit for 3 hours - Indonesia.
Would he qualify for 144 hours free transit visa? If so, do he need to stay in Bangkok for 1 day, to be considered that he takes off to another country from Shanghai.
