About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
144 hours free transit visa
Hi,
my colleague is Italian. He will travel to Shanghai (PVG).
His departure itinerary will be Indonesia - (transit in Hongkong for 2hrs) - Shanghai (PVG).
Will spend 3 days in Shanghai, then go back to Indonesia via transit in Bangkok for only 3 hours.
So, the itinerary will be:
Indonesia - (Hong Kong (just transit for 2 hours)) - Shanghai - (Bangkok (just transit for 3 hours)) - Indonesia.
Would he qualify for the 144 hour free transit visa? If so, do he need to stay in Bangkok for 1 day? to be considered that he will take off to another country from Shanghai.
