About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Guangzhou 144 hour transit visa from Bangkok to Macau

I arrive from Bangkok at Guangzhou Baiyun airport and want to stay a few days in Guangzhou on a 144 hour visa before travelling to Macau. I understand that because of the visa conditions you can't just walk across the border at Zhuhai. How can I best travel between Guangzhou and Macau Cotai?

You have in reality just one option. This is a ferry from Shenzhen Shekou ferry port to Macau. In reality, you have to book this ferry before your departure from Bangkok online through TurboJet ferry website. You will receive an e-confirmation and you will print out it. You will use this e-confirmation as a proof that you will be really in transit:

Bangkok - Guangzhou (mainland China) - Macau

Also, you will use this printout to collect your real paper ticket at Shenzhen Shekou ferry terminal and please, have in mind that you will have to take exactly that ferry you have bought your ticket for.
