About:Xiamen City Bus

Is it possible to go around xiamen by public transport for I cannot speak and read mandarin?

Do I need visa for an Indonesian go there for one weeks? what international flights from Jakarta to the city?

There are clear English signs for foreign tourists. So I think you can have a try. You have to apply for a Chinese visa in advance. There are direct flights between these two places like China Southern Airline.
