About:Visa on Arrival

Can Thai passport apply for 5-Day Visa on arrival?

Hi, I am Thai holding Thai passport. I will fly to Hong Kong for shipping then I will take high speed train from Lowu station, Hong Kong to Shenzhen, China on 26-Oct-2019. Can I apply for Visa on arrival at Lowu station?
There were many old news since 2017 that Thai passport is suspend for this visa but I can't find the latest update. Please confirm me, thank you.

Unfortunately, recent practice of Chinese immigration indicates that Thai citizens are not eligible for Shenzhen and Zhuhai VOA at the time being. You are advised to apply for a Chinese visa in advance.
