About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Manila to Beijing (2 hours layover) to New York

What are the steps to follow during the 2 hours layover in Beijijg up to boarding my connecting flight to NYC? Do I need to go through immigration? My airline provider is Airchina. Appreciate your help.

Assuming that you travel on a single (through) ticket, your entire procedure at Beijing will be quite simple because your luggage will be tagged all the way to New York and you will have both boarding passes issued in Manila. You will just confirm these details at check-in in Manila, just for a case.

Arrive at the International Arrival Level at 3F of T3-E → proceed with transfer procedures → pass through the Transit Inspection in special passage in the east or west → take special elevator downstairs to International Departure Level at 2F of T3-E → accept Security Inspection in the special passage → go through the customs sample check of hand baggage if necessary → Waiting & Boarding

In any case, just don't hesitate to ask the airport staff. Just be relaxed, you will do that quite easily.
