About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arriving in Hangzhou, staying 48 hours, leaving for Osaka do I qualify?

I arrive in Hangzhou and will stay for 48 hours and leave for Osaka from Hangzhou. Will I quality for the 72-Hour Free Transit in China?

You are qualified for 144 hour visa free transit under the following conditions:

- Your citizenship has to be among 53 eligible countries
- Your airport, immediately before Hangzhou, has to be outside of mainland China and outside of Japan
- You are not allowed to have any additional stop of any kind on your flights to/from Hangzhou within mainland China

If the above conditions are fulfilled, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in the entire Shanghai area and not only Hangzhou.
