About:Chinese Clay Figurine Museum

Do we qualify for the 144 hr visa free transit.

All US citizens going to Cebu, Philippines then to Shanghai for 5 days. Do we have to apply for China visa ?

It all depends on your itinerary. You have written just a portion of your itinerary:

Cebu - Shanghai

Anyway, to be able to offer you a correct and reliable answer, we need also your destination that will follow immediately after Shanghai. If your destination after Shanghai is in the third country, then you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit. Quite the contrary, if your next destination is within China, then you have to obtain a Chinese visa in advance.

Also, please, keep in mind that your flight from Cebu to Shanghai is not allowed to have any additional landing of any kind within mainland China.
