Can foreign tourist still hail taxi and pay with cash in Xiamen without a cell phone?

I heard China is fast becoming a cashless society. Everybody pays with the cell phone, gets taxi using DiDi app. As a foreign tourist, I don't have a China cellphone. In Xiamen, will I still be able to wave down a taxi on the street? Pay the driver with cash? Can I go to restaurant and pay with credit card or cash?
