Are Air Canada and Thai Airways in the same Terminal at Beijing Capital Airport?

I have an hour and 5 minutes to do an international to international transfer and am wondering about my baggage. I am worried I won't have time to get my bags and transfer to my new flight. Do I have to retrieve my baggage and then recheck it, or does it get sent automatically to the new airline? Also what happens if I don't make my flight because there wasn't enough time to transfer and then I miss it? Do I have to buy a whole new ticket?
First time traveler, thank you for your help!

1. Both these two airlines are located in T3.
2. No, you don't need to retrieve your luggage and then recheck it at PEK.
3. If you don't catch the next flight, you need to purchase a new ticket or change the air tickets.
