About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu
144 hours Visa free transit for MEL/HKG/PVG/ZRH
We are flying with Cathay from Melbourne to Shanghai via Hong Kong, with a 2 hour 45 min connecting flight.
After flying from Hong Kong to Shanghai on the same day we have a 96 hour / 4 day stay in Shanghai.
Will it be permitted to enter from Hong Kong to Shanghai and then fly to Zurich and be able to take advantage of the 144 hour visa free transit in SH. Would you recommend completing the one-line visa free transit application before departing Australia?
