About:Do I Need A Visa for Guangzhou If Traveling from Hong Kong?

South African flying visiting Hong Kong but want as days trip to China

Hi

We will be visiting Hong Kong for 3 days and would like to go to China Guangzhou East "mainland". We have the Chinese visa the following are the questions A. Do we get the train straight to Guangzhou East or we need to go via Shenzhen for visa clearing or do that can also be done in Guangzhou?

I am not sure if I get you correct. You already have visa for China mainland right? If yes, you do not have to go to Shenzhen firstly. If you take the train from HK Hung Hom to Guangzhou East, the immigration control of China mainland will be at Guangzhou East after your arrival.
