Abdullah, you have to be aware that your Chinese visa will expire at the very moment of your exit from mainland China to Hong Kong.
Since your flight is from Guangzhou toward Jordan, you can really use 24 hour visa free transit, but only by taking a flight from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. In other words, you just have to take care that you are allowed to stay in Guangzhou for less than 24 hours, so your flight from Guangzhou has to be within 24 hours from the scheduled arrival of your plane from Hong Kong. Also, your flight from Guangzhou has to be directly (nonstop) to some other country different than mainland China or Hong Kong.
Also, we both know that there are no direct plane connections between Guangzhou and Jordan, so you will probably travel via some other country. This is fine, but again, take care that your flight from Guangzhou does not have any additional landing of any kind within mainland China!
You will print out your flight tickets and bring that printouts with you. Also, you will declare at Hong Kong check-in that you will travel to Jordan via Guangzhou using 24 hour visa free transit. You will present your flight tickets and after a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.
Upon arrival in Guangzhou you will approach 24 hour visa free counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit. It will be granted to you and you will be able to exit the airport.
