About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Not a citizen of Country A but a citizen of allowed Country C.

I am US citizen. My flight path is Taiwan - Chengdu (2 days) - US (LAX). Does this qualify?

If those are your only stops, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Chengdu area.
