About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Xiamen

Manila to Vancouver with Xiamen 12 Hours Layover

Hi
My flight with Xiamen Air from Manila to Vancouver has a stopover at Xiamen Airport for 12 hours. I'm a holder of Philippine Passport with Canadian Visitor Visa. Do I need a Transit Visa for a 12 hours layover in Xiamen?

Annalice, your itinerary, as you have presented it, is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Xiamen and you don't need any kind of visa. You should just print out your flight tickets and have that printouts with you. Also, you will declare in Manila that you will be traveling to Vancouver via Xiamen using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane and travel to Vancouver.
