About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sydney to Shanghai via Hong Kong

Hi, would I be able to get the 144hr visa if I travelled from Sydney to Hong Kong (stopping in Hong Kong for a few days) then Hong Kong to Shanghai, before returning to Sydney via Hong Kong? Thanks in advance.

Hong Kong-Shanghai-Hong Kong obviously requires a visa in advance (assuming Australian citizenship). Just read "What is an eligible transit route?" above.
