Can our daughter apply for a tourist visa while she is in China on an X2 visa?
We are US citizens, living in US. I am originally from China; my parents and one brother are in China. Our daughter has been admitted to her university's study abroad program, and will study in Shanghai from Jan 4 to May 9, 2020. This means she will apply for an X2 visa (<= 180 days), and her X2 visa will expire on Jul 4. My family decided to have a family reunion in China in mid July, and if possible she will fly back to US on Jul 23 (together with me and her dad). Can she apply for a tourist visa while she is in China on her X2 visa? If yes, which organization should she send in the application?
