About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Coming to China for 144 hours but going back to the same country.

Hello, I am planning to come to Beijing from South Korea and then return back to South Korea. Because I am returning to the same country, but only visiting one city in China (Beijing) can I use the 144-hour transit policy?

You need a visa because you are not in transit, you need to continue to a third country before you can return through Korea to be eligible for visa free transit.
