About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

China visa in Macau, resident of another country

I am a resident of the Philippines and will be travelling to Macau. I do not have time to apply for a china visa in my country because I will be flying out tomorrow and my work just decided to extend my travel from Macau to China. What are the requirements to apply for a China Visa in Macau and do I have to have an appointment with the Chinese Consulate there or just a walk-in applicant?

The required documents may include your passport, application form, passport-size photo, return ticket, and hotel bookings. You don't need to make an appointment if applying in Macau.

However, I doubt whether you can apply there if you don't have a residence permit.
