About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
Transit layover 24 hours in Nanjing - leave airport and stay at hotel for the night
I am going from Vancouver, Canada to Taipei with 24 hours transit stop in Nanjing. I would like to leave the airport and stay the night in a nearby hotel prior to coming back to catch my connecting flight to Taipei the next day.
(1) Would I qualify for the 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit?
(2) How and where can I apply for a transit permit?
