About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 visa free transit from USA to Beijing to Hongkong

If we buy round trip tickets via United Airlines from Chicago to Beijing from 10/1st to 10/20th; and then round trip tickets. from Beijing to Hong Kong from 10/4th to 10/20th via Xieman Airlines. Are we qualified for the 144 visa free transit for the 4 days staying in Beijing?

As far as I know Xiamen airlines has other landings in China to/from HK. If that's true you are not eligible for the visa free transit. Travel must be non-stop to HK from Beijing. May i suggest Cathay Pacific for the second ticket to make it USA > Beijing > Hong Kong > Beijing > USA
