About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

144 hours visa free transit.

We will be flying out from Chicago to Hong Kong on Saturday. If the flight arrives Beijing on Sunday and then we want to stay in Beijing and join some tours for three nights and will take the flight from Beijing to Hongkong on Wednesday night. Are we qualified for the 144 visa-free transit?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the flight from Beijing to HK on Wednesday evening is not a direct flight.
It will need to transfer at Chongqing and then fly to HK. Are we still qualified for the 144-visa free transit? Thank you.

The stop in Chongqing means you are limited to 24 hours visa-free transit in China. 144 hours is not permitted.
