About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour or 144 hour visa free transit?

I arrive in Beijing from the USA at 2:45 PM Sept 20 on Delta. I leave Beijing at 3:30 PM on China Southern to Dhaka, Bangladesh on Sept. 21 with a connecting flight on China Southern at CAN. Do I qualify for a visa free transit?

The stop in Guangzhou immediately limits you to 24 hours transit without visa in China. To stay longer you need a visa or different flights.
