About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Celebrity Cruise 1 day visit

We are Canadian citizens arriving and departing from Shanghai seaport Nov 30/19 (14 Hours) I understand we should be covered for the 72 hour visa free visit. Is this correct, if not correct how do we get authorization/approval to enter at the Shanghai, we will be arriving from Japan.

Jean, if your route is Japan - Shanghai - and then a third country, you are eiglible for the 24 h visa-free transit in Shanghai.
