144 hour visa exemption

We are flying from the uk to Beijing with a change of plane at Dubai, arrive Beijing 5 October, leave Tainjin cruise terminal on 7 October then Japan, Taiwan,Hong Kong 2 days, Vietnam,Vietnam again and depart ship in Singapore then fly back to Dubai and then to UK, would this trip qualify for the visa exemption certificate please?

Your itinerary is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in principle. Anyway, to be certain, here is a couple of conditions:

- Your flight from UK to Beijing is not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China and in Japan
- Your cruise is not allowed to have its first port of call, immediately after Tianjin, in mainland China

If the above conditions are fulfilled, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area.
