About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

It is possible to share the Beijing Yikatong Card?

I'm travelling with a friend. I was wondering if we both can pay with the same card at the same moment (to pay together a bus, metro..) or we need two cards? greetings

You need to buy two transport cards.
