About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Visiting Haikou from Singapore

Hi, i booked my own flight ticket and accommodation online via Scoot and Expedia. I intend to go free and easy tour around Hainan. I'm holding a Singapore passport. Can i have the 30-days visa free access? Or i must die die book travel package with their local travel agency? Thanks! :)

Jessica, you didn't mention the length of your planned stay in Hainan and that is very important detail. In case if your stay in Hainan will be up to 15 days, you really don't have to bother with a single detail you have mentioned because you, as a Singaporean citizens, can enter and stay in Hainan absolutely visa free. All you need is your passport.

In case if your intended stay in Hainan will exceed 15 days,in that case the option of 30 day visa free access would be your best solution. In this case, you would make a contact with one of relevant local agencies, tell them about your flights and accommodation and also about your rough itinerary within Hainan. Also, you will agree with them about purchasing one or two simple offers like airport transfer or a half/day trip. There is absolutely no need to make any longer trips and definitely not a travel package.
