About:China Train

I'm trying to book a train ticket but I can't find details about the train stations.

I'm trying to book a train ticket from Shanghai to Taiyuan on September 25th but I can't find from which station the train is leaving and to which station the train will arrive. I'm not going to buy the ticket if I can't have access to all information. If it's North, South, West or East. And it's important for me to know exactly all the details so I can plan my trip properly.

If you are looking for high speed rides, they depart from Shanghai Hongqiao Station and will reach Taiyuan South Station. If you are looking for normal overnight rides, the stations are different. K1806 departs from Shanghai South Station, other rides all depart from Shanghai railway station which is named by city name directly. For arrival station, Z286 stops at Taiyuan South Station, others will stop at Taiyuan Station, also the one named by city name. Hope this information can help you.
