visit Hong Kong on 144 hour transit visa

Hi I will be flying into Guangzhou airport from London before taking an onward flight to Bali 4 days later. I was planning on getting the 144 hour transit visa to explore the area. Would I be able to visit Hong Kong on this type of visa?

Byron, if you arrange your trip like London - HK -Guangzhou - Bali, and you fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou by air, you can make use of the 144h visa-free transit in Guangzhou. For HK, you don't need a visa.
