About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

I am departing USA arriving at Beijing airport. Planning t stay 3 days in Beijing

And arrive at international cruise port in Tianjin. Does 144hrs transit apply? Cruise will be heading to Taiwan.

Yes, your itinerary is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area. You should just take care that your flight from US to Beijing doesn't have any additional landing within mainland China and in Taiwan.
