About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can i fly from Taiwan to Shanghai ( Stopover 3 days) and then to Germany?

Hi Guys,
im super confused by these 144days rule.
Can i fly from Taiwan to Shanghai, stay there 3days and continue flying to Germany?
