About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa 72h or 144h

I’m planing to fly Paris-Helsinki-Guangzhou (spend 48h there) then Guangzhou-Istambul(5h layover)-Paris.

Could I get 72h or 144h Visa-free transit in Guangdong region? Is it allow to visit business partners during that time?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit (144 hour TWOV has replaced 72 hour TWOV in May of this year making 72 hour TWOV non-existent). The part that interests Chinese authorities is:

Helsinki - Guangzhou - Istanbul

It is perfectly allowed to use your 144 hour TWOV for business purposes.

Please, just one detail. You are not allowed to have any additional stops beside the above mentioned.
