144 hours visa exemption

Flight Milan Shanghai Pudong with stop in Bangkok with Thai Airways
After 2 days flight Shanghai Bangkok
Stay in Bangkok 4 days and after return flight to Milan
Is possible apply visa exemption 144 hours?

if your routes are Milan - Shanghai - Bangkok and Bangkok - Shanghai - Milan, then you are eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit (visa exemption).

If you fly Milan-Bangkok-Shanghai-Bangkok-Milan then you need a visa in advance. 144 hours transit without visa doesn’t apply.
