About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Visa needed for 2 Chinese layovers within a 24hr period?
I will be traveling from Los Angeles to Laos (LAX-PVG-KMG-VTE) and will have 2 layovers in China along the way (Shanghai & Kunming). My layover in Shanghai is 4 hours and my layover in Kunming is 8.5 hours. Since the total layover time in mainland China is less than 24hrs combined will I be fine traveling through without applying for a Chinese visa before starting on my trip?
