About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

144 hour transit visa in Shenzhen

I will fly from Bangkok to Shenzhen and would like to stay there for a few days before going on to Hong Kong either by ferry or bus. Do I qualify for the 144 hour visa if I go by bus?
Also, I have visited Turkey. Will that be a problem getting the visa?

If you want to use 144-hour visa free transit, you have to go to Hong Kong by ferry. Your Turkey travelling experience may affect your 144-hour visa free transit in Shenzhen.

Alex, thanks for the info about the ferry. Is there a way to find out if the Turkey stamp in my passport is going to stop me from receiving the 144 hour transit visa or not?
