About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Passport Validity for transit in China

Dear Sir/Madam,
I need to travel to my home country Bangladesh through China Southern Airlines and I got ticket, went to Airport but finally barred to fly because the Airport authorities was saying that you can’t travel due to passport expiration less than than 3 Months.
I discussed the issue with Japanese immigration but they said that if you have Japanese visa then passport expiration is not a matter for transit in China because your final destination is Dhaka not China.
In this case I need to know that whether is it the Law in China immigration that foreigners can’t take a transit those passport will be expired within less than 3 Months?
Thanks a lot.

China transit requires passport valid for at least 3 months. This applies whether you leave the airport or not.
