About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

A double clarification please regarding the number of entries in Shanghai

We want to do: Europe - Shanghai - Philippines - Shanghai - Europe. So from above I understand that we can enter Shanghai first time and enjoy 144 hours, then go to Philippines, come back to Shanghai and enjoy again 144 hours, and then fly back to Europe. Is my understanding correct? Thanks

Yes, it’s as simple as that. What requires clarification? Your passport must be from one of the 53 qualifying countries, of course.
