About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Hours Visa Exemption

Hi, we arrive in Beijing at 15.20 on Friday 11 October from Singapore and depart Beijing on Wednesday 16 October at 00.25 for Singapore. Do we qualify for a visa exemption as under 144 hours? Many thanks

Obviously this won’t qualify for transit without visa because it’s a visit to China and not a transit. You didn’t mention your nationality but if you hold a Singapore passport you won’t need a visa. Otherwise you must get a visa or change your flights.

Unfortunately, you don't because of your itinerary:

Singapore - Beijing - Singapore

It is not eligible because this is not a transit, but a simple return flight or a visit to China. There is no the third country at all...

By the way, in case if you are a Singaporean citizen, you can do this because Singaporean citizens do not need a visa to travel to China at all.
