Can I book hotel rooms in multiple cities ?
I will entire China via Vietnam and will land in Pudong Airport . I plan to travel using the 144 visa free transit permit . I planned on staying 3 nights in Shanghai and 1 night in Nantong which is in Jiangsu province but wasn't sure if that would pose a problem . I have stayed in China previously using visa free transit ( Beijing) but my entire stay was in the same city at the same hotel . Being that I plan on staying in hotels within Jiangsu province I feel confident that I will be following the rules of the 144 hour visa free transit permit . I just want to double and triple check as I don't want to encounter any issues in China at any moment . Is it allowed to stay a night in a hotel in Nantong or does the length of my stay have to be in the same hotel ? Thank you for your time!
