About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Hi there

I recently reapplied for x visa but my teacher said both the immigration and educational departments rejected my form just because I had one day overstayed before last year in June but actually my old school took care of that so they said now I may not be able to come back to China again what’s going on?

There seems to be a crackdown on foreign students and English teachers after numerous reports on their poor behaviors this year generated significant backlash on Chinese-language social media. Also security has been heightened for a while for the upcoming 70-year establishment celebration of the PRC. Unfortunately there is no way to appeal the decision.
