About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Paris - Beijing - London

I'm a Romanian citizen planning a trip to Beijing, and I'll be flying from Paris to Beijing, then to the UK (London), where I'm a student. Am I eligible for the 144 hour visa?

Yes, you are.

Your itinerary:

Paris - Beijing - London

Is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit, but you should take care that the above mentioned stops are really the only stops that you will have within your itinerary. Just bring your flight tickets in hard copy.

So if I were to Fly from Paris to Beijing via Warsaw for example, and back to London via Moscow, would I still be eligible for a 144 hour visa?

Any type of scheduled layover counts no matter how short. Also note that only stops or layovers immediately before and after Beijing matter.

Hey, Thanks for the reply! Do layovers count as stops though? Because my flights are most likely not going to be direct flights (however, there will be no layovers in China)..
