About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Hour Visa Free Transit

US Citizen Flying from/to
One way Honolulu (HNL) -> Manila *Layover* (MNL) -> Beijing (PEK)
Stay in Beijing for up to 144hrs
Non Stop Direct one way Beijing (PEK) -> New Delhi (DEL)

Will I be eligible for the 144 hr transit free stay with 2 direct one way flights with different airline carriers on separate itineraries? I've read elsewhere that Airline Carriers will require a visa for flights to China especially since it's a one way ticket before while just checking-in (this would be the initial outbound flight HNL -> PEK)
Is showing the ticket out of Beijing within 144 Hrs enough for them to let us through?

These two details make you eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and that is valid regardless of your separate, one way tickets. It is important that you have them in hard copy.

Upon your landing in Beijing, you will approach to 144 hour TWOV counter, fill out the blue form and present your ticket for Delhi.
