Passport validity and Stay in China

Hi friends, My passport vaild until 10.05.2020.
My China work permit also vaild till 10.05.2020.
Am leaving China permanently around 1st week of May'20. Is it possible stay till 1st week of May'20 without passport renewal or I need to renewal my passport at China before 6 months ahead?

Yes, you had better renew your passport before leaving. I personally think China immigration will allow you to go as long as your passport is still valid by the time you are leaving, but I doubt whether the airline and your country will accept your expiring passport.
