About:10-year China Visa

Validity of US Passport for 10 year China Visa

Is the requirement for the 12 month validity of the US passport for the 10-year visa at the time of visa application or does the passport need to be valid for 12 months after the trip to China?

It should be valid for at least 12 months at the time of visa application.
