About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu
ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 144-HOUR VISA EXEMPTION
Hi, we are UK passport holders on a cruise which includes the segment HONG KONG-SHANGHAI-JAPAN. You have already confirmed that the 144 hour permit is applicable. However, we are having difficulties completing the online application.
The application asks for:
ADDRESS IN CHINA (do we enter the cruise port address?)
HOTEL NAME (do we enter the ship name? We will have 1 night on-board the ship in port)
PHONE NUMBER IN CHINA (?)
ARRIVAL VESSEL (I assume we just put the ship name NORWEGIAN SPIRIT)
ARRIVAL FROM (what do we put for HONG KONG - I assume if we put China the permit is not applicable)
DEPARTURE VESSEL (I assume we just put the ship name NORWEGIAN SPIRIT)
DEPARTURE TO (this is OK as I assume we put JAPAN)
