Canadians Travel to Shenzhen on VOA

Hi
Quick question, I’m travelling on Canadian passport and currently in HK on 3 month visitor visa and want to take train to Shenzhen.
I’m eligible for the VOA with having Canadian passport but are there places/stations where you can get the VOA visa if you get train or is it only available at airports and shipping ports??
Please advise if the VOA is available when you access Shenzhen by train from HK?

You cannot take a through or high speed train, but you can arrive by MTR train to Lo Wu border crossing, after that you have a short walk to Luohu border crossing and there you can obtain your Shenzhen VOA. After you have done this formality, you will take a metro directly from Luohu to the center of Shenzhen. This is by far the easiest option of all the available, especially if you are already in Hong Kong. You can return from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by high speed train.
