About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

1 week stay in Sanya from USA. Hi. We are traveling from USA (US passport).

We are flying from Los Angeles, connecting in Taipei, and landing in Sonya. We are planning a one-week stay, and then flying from Sanya to Taipei for one week, prior to returning to USA.

We are Not traveling outside of Sanya.

Do we still need Visas?

As I know, if you join in a travel agency, then you can enjoy this policy.

As mentioned by Brooke, you are eligible to enjoy 30 day visa free access and this access allows you to travel throughout Hainan island (roughly the size of US state of Maryland). To be allowed to enjoy this visa free option with your return flights from/to Taipei, you should follow the steps that I have shortly written in the post bellow this one as an answer to Amanda from Singapore. This is not a difficult procedure, but it can just take some of your time.

Since it is not allowed to mention particular agency on this websites, I will just encourage you to insert the phrase "Hainan agency English speaking" and you will get several of them that you can use to prepare your trip to this Chinese island. The main part is to make a firm deal about the service you will use.
